Anas ibn Malik reports that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: None of you is a believer until I am dearer to him than his child, his father, and the whole of mankind. (Sahih Muslim)
Increase the love for the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, develop a better understanding of the Prophetic life, and revive the spirit of Islam through studying the Prophetic journey in-depth.

About the Teacher:
Dr. Jumana ElSamna (PhD Hadith Studies)
Dr. Jumana ElSamna, a Palestinian from Gaza, earned her Ph.D. in Hadith Studies from the Islamic University in Gaza. She holds two bachelor's degrees: one in Arabic in Usul al-Din, and the other in English in Contemporary Da'wa. Additionally, she has achieved ijaza certification in the recitation of Hafs.
Worked at the Islamic University and has experience teaching various Islamic subjects and Tajweed to non-Arabic speakers for several years.
Dr. ElSamna is dedicated to ensuring that every Muslim, regardless of their language, has the opportunity to learn about Islam. This commitment has driven her to focus on educating non-Arabs about Islamic teachings.
Overview:
An excellent opportunity to learn and delve into the science of Hadith studies and get acquainted with the varied terminologies used therein, and reflect on ethical and spiritual lessons.
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Hadith terminology (Mustalah al-Hadith) for students at beginner and intermediate levels. The course aims to equip students with a solid understanding of the key concepts, classifications, and methodologies used in the science of Hadith.
By the end of the course, students will be able to critically evaluate Hadiths and understand meanings of the 40 hadiths of Al-Imam Al-Nawawi and potentially memorise them.

Learning objectives:
Learn the basic classifications of Hadith, including "Sahih," "Hasan," and "Da'if."
Understand the Chain of Transmission
Familiarise with Major Hadith Collections
Recognize the importance of Hadith in Islamic teachings and daily life.
Understand the significance of Al-Imam Al-Nawawi and his contributions to Islamic scholarship.
Learn the core concepts and themes presented in "The 40 Hadith," such as faith (Iman), worship (Ibadah), ethics (Akhlaq), and social relations.
Explore real-life scenarios and case studies to see how the teachings of "The 40 Hadith" can be implemented.

Advanced Level
The Hadith Study
Overview:
Delve into a unique and in-depth exploration of the Hadith science. This advanced course explores the Hadith Terminologies (Mustalah al-Hadith) and is designed for students who have a foundational understanding of Islamic sciences. Students will develop their expertise in the critical study and analysis of Hadith literature. The course will cover advanced concepts and methodologies used by classical and contemporary scholars to evaluate the authenticity, reliability, and significance of Hadiths.
1. Deepen Understanding: Enhance knowledge of key terms and concepts in Hadith terminology.
2. Critical Analysis: Develop the ability to critically analyze Hadith chains (isnad) and texts (matn).
3. Methodological Proficiency: Gain proficiency in the methodologies used by Hadith critics (muhaddithun) to authenticate Hadiths.
4. Historical Contextualization: Understand the historical development and scholarly debates surrounding Hadith criticism.
5. Practical Application: Apply advanced techniques to assess the reliability and authenticity of Hadiths in practical scenarios.
